This is long overdue but I just couldn’t skip it. We stayed at the Wicklow Way Lodge in September 2011 as the last stop on a month-long European vacation and I can’t say enough good things about the place. The property is right along the Wicklow Way and has amazing views of the spectacular countryside all around. We had one... More

If you like peace and quiet and a feeling of being away from the bustle of town, this is the place for you. It is a modern b&b with great beds, powerful showers, and great hosts. We stayed for three nights and found the location perfect for connection to the DART train to Dublin as well as a short drive... More

Although we are well travelled, you couldn't beat the warmth, friendliness, helpful advice and hospitality from Marilyn at Wicklow Way Lodge. The grounds, the building and the rooms were exceptional (large and spotless). The breakfasts were to die for. The view from the room was one of the best we have experienced. Thanks to Marilyn for a wonderful experience. Linda... More

If you ar touring Wicklow County, or hiking the Wicklow Way, or just want to get out of Dublin for a relaxing overnight in the country, the Wicklow Way Lodge is just the ticket. It is a place where I would gladly have kicked off my hiking shoes and extended our stay. After a long hard slog on the Wicklow... More

Walked some of the Wicklow Way from Dublin to Glengalough in August. We stayed in The Wicklow Way Lodge on our second night. It was perfect and we would recommend it to anyone on the walk or just as a place to stay surrounded by our fantastic countryside. We were met with a glass of well earned water and shown... More

We started our Mid-July 10 day Irish vacation at the Wicklow way lodge. Truly a wonderful start to a great vacation. The innkeepers were fantastic, they suggested a great hike to show us some truly beautiful country. Marilyn suggested the Wicklow heather for supper and it was superb. Of course you have to have the porridge for breakfast. The inn... More

the owners were away on Christmas tree business but the delightful Irina took care of us with the most kind, loving and warm hospitality! she made sure the Wicklow Heather in Laragh was still serving and drew us a map how to get there (just 6 K from lodge). You MUST eat there! Awesome food and it has a library... More

Wicklow Way Lodge was our first stop ( for two nights ) on our third trip to Ireland. An excellent choice it turned out to be, despite its surprising omission from Steves and Frommer. ( We found it in Lonely Planet's "Hiking in Ireland". ) Modern, spotlessly clean, and well maintained by an especially warm couple, Seamus and Marilyn Kinlan,... More

Spacious room for our family of four with a view of the beautiful Wicklow Mountains. Just a few minutes down the road from the Glendalough visitors center and monastic area. Also easy access to the Wicklow Way and incredible mountains. We thought this was just going to be a stopping point between Dublin and Cashel but really wish we had... More
