The house itself is stunning, very old style. we stayed in the courtyard which is very pretty and has a number of houses with seperate bedrooms in each. This would be great for big groups e.g. weddings. Rooms have tea and coffee making facilities and toiletries. There is a... More

If you want some peace and quiet to help you relax then, Slaney Manor is the place for you. I was there with 3 friends to attend a concert given by Swindon Male Voice Choir along with the Wexford Male choir in Kinsella Castle which is in the gounds of the manor house. This house is beautifully decorated throughout with... More

My cousin's daughter had a wedding reception at Slaney Manor and we came over for the wedding and booked the Slaney Manor for our stay to minimize the hassle of driving before and after the reception. We stayed 2 nights, the first one in... More

Stayed in the 18th century cottage on the grounds. While basic (it is what it says it is) we found it to be beautiful and charming, a low thatched cottage a minute or so from the main house, but if you're looking for an unique place to sleep this is it.... The breakfast is served in the main house, and... More

Regardless personal opinions, this is definitely a special place. Looking for accommodation late in the evening, we saw a sign reading "secluded accommodation". I'm fond of quietness and peace, so I found this appealing. Well, I have to say that this could be too quite for some people. The manor is situated in a private state, next to a castle,... More
