This Travelodge Hotel is basic/functional by any standard. It was one of the few available remaining and I appreciate it was the Tall ships weekend, however it was pretty pricy for pretty average. There was no breakfast available. There are two fast food outlets nearby - one of which is advertised/promoted by the the hotel. This type of breakfast is not... More

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The room was basic but did the job, was clean and comfortable. The only issue really was noise - the walls were either very thin or our neighbour had the TV on extra loud, as we could hear every word. Also, there seemed to be lots of people making quite a lot of... More

We stayed here 1 night before our onward journery to Killarney. Reception helpful, rooms quiet clean and of a good size. TV a big old unit, but did work. Beds comfortable. More

Srayed for one night and found it to be a good value for little money hotel. Room was clean and large, beds comfortable. Anna was on reception on check in and found her to be very pleasant and efficient. Staff on later that night and the next morning on checkout also very friendly. Simply its a basic hotel that offers... More

It's a Travelodge so don't expect anything else. It was clean and functional, but very basic with no frills or niceties. For example, there was no hairdryer or bath mat in our room which most basic accommodation has these days. However, overall it was okay - the beds were comfortable and the staff were friendly. It did the job. More

We were in Waterford for the Welsh rugby match. We were greeted by Anna at the reception desk. She couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. Our rooms were basic, but very clean and comfortable. I had a very bad fall outside the hotel, and the Manager, Christopher came to my aid. He is also a qualified First Aider and... More

I take a number of short break trips and also travel a lot for business and have stayed in hotels from 5 star to 1 star. Due to the Welsh Game we could not get accommodation in Waterford City itself and had no choice but to stay in the Travel Lodge. I can not tell you how surprised I was... More

We stayed here for one night in December as my partner had an interview for a job. It was a basic room with a television and a double bed. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Very basic room, Asked for double room however the only rooms available were family rooms, and disabled rooms. We had a key to our room but the couple next door to us Had to ask the night porter to open the door every time they wanted to go outside to the lobby to use vending machines or smoke etc. In... One of our party booked a room with the travelodge in Waterford through a booking site, the room was booked for four adults, we decided to go with the travelodge due to the fact that this was one of the very few hotels in Waterford that appeared to accomodate a group of this number in one room together. When we... More
