Stayed one night with my wife whilst touring Ireland. The guest house is an easy walk into the centre of Westport. The proprietor though very efficient though not very friendly. The room was very ordinary with small tv and very little room. For £75.00 got better value in other parts of the country.

This is a very pretty little B&B with easy access for functions in the next door CastleCourt Hotel.Myself and my husband both had a very pleasant stay here. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were also very friendly and helpful. The Hotel is about a 2 minute walk into the centre of Westport town. The bedrooms are very nice and... More

Stayed here on a stag weekend with my friend. €40 per night with a lovely breakfast. Slept it out on the 2 mornings but got a phonecall from Des tellin us to get up and have you're breakfast. TV is a bit of a joke and remote didn't work. Other than that just perfect

I thought that this looked quaint and nostalgic from the outside, and when I walked in I was right. However, after booking and paying for my room, which was quite large, and adequate, it wasn't until I had settled in for the evening that the problems began. First, neither of the bedroom lamps was working. Despite plugging them in, flipping... More

This guest house is furnished in an old-fashioned Irish way, which is quaint and comfy, but nothing special. Everything we needed was provided. The proprietor, Des, was helpful but not in a smiling, welcoming way such as you find in other Irish hostels. The sitting room was comfortable and provided a place to make tea and coffee. The rooms were... More

Myself and 2 friends stayed here recently while visiting Westport to celebrate our friends wedding. The location was perfect as we were right next door to the reception and we were less than two minutes walk to the middle of town. They were very accommodating on arrival and very helpful when it came to parking our car and helping us... More

Stayed one night in this central, comfortable guesthouse as we were attending a wedding in the Castleourt hotel next door. For half the price of the Castlecourt we got a lovely spacious double room literally right beside it. Couldnt recommend this guesthouse enough if you have a wedding there, its so handy! The woman who checked us in was very... More

Went to Westport without a reservation. After talking to a clerk at a store just outside of town, we decided to take a chance on the Cloneen House. What appealed to us was it's closeness to town center - less than a 5 minute walk. As it turned out , we had a nice stay. The room was clean and... More
