Totally enjoyed this farm B&B with its quiet charm in Kilkenny area. The farm is located away from the city and it helps to have a GPS to find it. Our hosts took very good care of us and the breakfast cooked in the open plan kitchen dining room was excellent. Typical Irish breakfast but adjusted to what suited your... More

We stayed two nights but we could have spent a week at Lawcus Farm. Our hosts were lovely, made a fantastic breakfast, and treated us like family. Kells Priory and the river walk down the road were some of the the highlights of our trip. The stone room was romantic and so comfortable, it was hard to get out of... More

One night is not enough, cancel your other bookings and allow the time to enjoy the peace & quiet and the hospitality of Anne Marie and Mark. If you want to see the true Ireland this is the place to start...Mark can send you to sights and traditional pubs only minutes away. Don't miss Kells Priory- a must see before... More

Lawcus Farm was just what we needed. Peaceful, beautiful, comfortable, wonderful host and hostess. We couldn't imagine a better place to stay. It is far enough off the beaten path to give you that feeling of "escape", yet close enough to the normal tourist sites to be very convenient. We can't say enough about Ann Marie and Mark. Very friendly... More

I do not know where to even to begin. When we left Lawcus Farm after staying two nights I told Ann Marie our wonderful hostess that every place we stayed after this would pale in comparison. Ann Marie I was right. Ann Marie and Mark make you feel as if you are old friends. They not only share their beautiful... More

We stayed two nights and could have stayed longer if there weren't so much to see in other parts of the country. This B and B is the epitome of hospitality. We arrived a little after noon, worried that we wouldn't have a room to crash into. But Ann Marie aims to please. We were served tea while we waited... More

My mom and I did a road trip around Ireland and our main focus was to stay in cool, interesting, different places. We actually chose to stay in the Kilkenny area only because we loved the look of Lawcus Farm and even then our expectations were surpassed. First for the guest house - it's a beautiful old building that Mark... More

My fiance, Matt, and I recently undertook a whirlwind, one-week road trip, touring several counties in Ireland. (For those of you still in the planning stages of an Ireland vacation, please note that one week is just not enough time to experience everything you'll want to do and see in this beautiful country!) Along with our small car, we rented... More

My husband and I just returned from our 10 day trip to Ireland, and this was by far one of our two favorite places we stayed. It really is on a farm. They have about 20 acres with lots of animals and gardens. We stayed in the stone room which was a very cool experience. Mark and Anne Marie have... More
