stayed here for a girls weekend away. it was great- less than 10 min walk to shops and restaurants, free car park, good buffet breakfast, lovely rooms, comfortable, quiet, warm. tea / coffee facilities. pleasant and helpful staff. would recommend! More

This hotel is conveniently located but needs a refresh. The staff were helpful but we did have a staff member walk into our room unannounced (Yikes!). Stayed one night for a 'lads trip" and found the hotel ample for the purpose of my visit. Received a warm welcome when I arrived and check in was quick. We stayed here 1 night in August 2011. It is a fair hotel, old but apparently it's being renovated, at least in part. It was definitely in the middle of a re-painting (you could smell it). The mattress (room 105) was quite bad. You could feel all the springs in your back. Not nice. The bathroom was ample and clean.... More
