Our stay at Carriglea was a wonderful beginning to a 2-week Ireland vacation. It was clean, comfortable and reasonable and the breakfasts were a wonderful start to our day. It's also a block away from the Kilkenny Castle! We would definitely recommend this B&B to other travelers. more

It is difficult to add anything to the other reviews. Really a great location with good parking and a nicely sized bedroom. However, the bathroom was probably the smallest that we encountered on our recent trip. What stood our was the friendly, relaxed atmosphere, excellent hosts ... and then the breakfast. Without any doubt the best breakfast that we've had. more

Josephine was one of the best hosts we had on our Irish honeymoon. She was very helpful and answered any question we had. House was very clean and spacious, as was our bedroom. location was fantastic - 5 min walk into town, to the castle. If you're in Kilkenny, you have to stay here! more

This was without a doubt the best bed and breakfast we stayed at during our trip to Ireland. We just adore Mrs. O'Reilly. It was perfectly located, 5 minutes stroll to town. We also enjoyed exploring the grounds of the castle which is literally across the street. You MUST stay here! more
