We spent a week traveling throughout the Southern half of Ireland, staying in B&B's the whole way. They were all very nice, however, Woodlands was the best by far. The accommodations were very clean & comfortable, conveniently located to the beautiful Killarney National Forest...minutes from Torc Waterfall, Ross Castle, Muckross House, etc. Town center just minutes away as well. The... more

I traveled with my daughter and friend by car to the O'Donahue's, where Patrick (Paud) helped us settle into our two large rooms. You won't need for anything here (except for face cloths or wash rags, as we Americans call them, which seem not to exist in Ireland), as everything is taken care of. It was a wild and windy... more

I just visited the Woodlands B&B on a trip with my mother and her friend for my mom's 59th birthday. They flew over from the US, and I visited from London. We drove across from Dublin in hopes of visiting the Dingle Peninsula and Ring of Kerry, but the weather did not allow all to happen! We were, however, extremely... more

We must say we will never waste our money on a hotel in future!! this was so much nicer and such good value! Gave one the opportunity of seeing all most popular atractions in Killarney and Ring of Kerry! National Park of Killarney only 5 minutes from B&B, town only few minutes by car and about 15 by walk. Building,... more

Julia and Paud provided us with clean, comfortable accomodation and fine food during our visit to Killarney. They were also helpful in pointing our places of interest in the area, which is quite nice. Good value and pleasant hosts. more

We enjoyed the quiet, friendly and relaxing atmosphere in Julia and Paudie O'Donoghue's house. The breakfast was always a fantastic start into the day. Woodlands is situated perfectly for walks in the National Park of Killarney. Whenever i'll be coming back to Killarney i'd try to stay at Woodlands. :-) more

We arrived early in the afternoon and were met by Paud at the door. He took us in and up to our room where we had a wonderful converstaion . He gave us an armful of tips about what to do and where to stop on the "Ring of Kerry" that we intended to do on the following day. He... more

Paud (and the mostly elusive Julia) were really friendly, helpful hosts, and the best thing about our stay in Killarney. We were warmly welcomed and given a lovely bottle of wine, as we were on our honeymoon. The room was comfortable, with coffee and tea station down the hall. The B & B kept sneaking up on us when we... more

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights. It was our first visit to Ireland and Killarney was one of our favorite stops. Paud and Julia were wonderful hosts. Their home is very welcoming. Our bedroom&bathroom were very spacious and clean. The breakfasts were delicious with several choices. Paud helped us plan out our sightseeing given the weather was... more
