We (2 Adults & 2 Children 14&12) stayed at the Castlerosse for 3 nights which included 3 B&B and 3 evening meals for €399 which we found to be great value. (Note kids evening meals were from kids menu) - Staff were very friendly and efficient. - Hotel was clean - Evening meals were excellent with a large and varied... more

Stayed in one of the self catering cottages for the second year running and love the place. They have added a new playground and football/basketball court which are really good and were loved by the kids. Used the pool everyday and had a lovely meal on the last night of our stay. Hope to go back again next year. more

We saw an ad on the paper for the hotels family holidays and it looked really nice with the pool, basketball, football, tennis and kids playground so decided to book it, and we were delighted we did!!! From the moment we made the phone call to checking out the staff were lovely, so friendly and really wanted you to enjoy... more

Overall an experience that we would not want to repeat! When we arrived we had to wait for nearly two hours for our room to be ready, whilst I accept that rooms might not be ready immediately there was no offer of tea or coffee to soften the inconvenience. The rooms are dark and slightly musty, especially the bathrooms. Our... more

Dear Guest, It was with regret that I read your review and I apologise for the problems you encountered. I am not sure what time you arrived but rooms are not quaranteed to be ready until after 2pm, which is standard in most hotels. I am surprised that you found our bar menu so unhealthy, during the day there is...

We stayed in hotel with their 3 nights B & B and 3 Evening meals offer. Our children are both aged under 6 so the kids club wasn't of benefit to them, that said they had a fabulous time in the play park and pool with us. We had spent some time down in castlegregory and this was the last... more

I am a frequent traveller and when I entered the Castelrosse hotel I did not know what to expect. But beyond the quaint lobby was an amazing view of what I expected Kerry to look like - stunning lake and mountains, I instantly relaxed. There is also an amazing golf course (not a golfer, but the grounds are so nice),... more

While we didn't stay at this hotel, we did play golf and when we came out, realized we had a flat tire. Kathlyn Somers at the front desk couldn't have been nicer. The staff tried to change the tire and when they couldn't, they called their AAA service and our hotel to advise that we had a problem. All is... more

We stayed in the Castlerosse for one night as part of a family get together. From the moment we entered the hotel, my heart sank. There was a smell in reception, and this continued down the endless corridors to our room. The decor in lobby was nice, it all changed once you got downstairs. Rooms were cold and uninviting on... more

We recently had an enjoyable 1 night stay and would recommend for families with young children. The one negative was that our family room was very small. However, we were told we got the last family room available so don't know if the size of our room was representative of all family roooms. The facilities for children are great -... more

We stayed in the Woodland Cottages in July and were pleasantly surprised. We got a great last minute deal the week before and felt it might be too good to be true! The cottage was clean and spacious and overlooked a green area. Our Kids were too young for the Kids club but the playground was a great attraction. All... more
