The Swallow is situated within walking distance of the city centre and Salthill, which made it perfect, it was also quiet and homely. The room rates were also pocket... More

My family spent ten days in the Swallow and these were the best time we had outside China. We spent in different types of hotels, but the Swallow gave us very different feeling. The sweet hostess and host are so friendly. We feel just like at home. We will stay there once we have chance get back to Galway some... More

Me and my boyfriend stayed here and it was perfect location to Salthill with just a short walk away. The owners were so helpful and friendly that I would go back again even for that reason. I'd definitely recommend this B&B to everyone thinking on staying in Galway More

This is a very reasonable priced, clean B and B. Rooms are on the small side, but if your staying in your room alot while at Galway, something wrong with you. The owners Patrica and Jimmy are gracious, funny and are willing to answer all questions regarding Galway tours, food, etc. My stay there was extremely pleasant. A short walk... More

Patricia and Jim are the warmest of hosts and I so enjoy coming to stay with them for two weeks every year during the Galway Arts Festival. This cosy B&B is only a few minutes walk from the exciting Quay Street, and I love the fact that, after hours of listening to wonderful Irish music in the local pubs, I... More

Warm and friendly welcome of Patricia and Jim. We feel like at home. Breakfast was good : fruits, cheese, cereals, toasts, egss ..... Rooms comfortable, clean. Close to the center of Galway (+/-10min. walk). If we return to Galway, we will stay again at the Swallow. More

I was a little reluctant to stay at a B&B when we went, but WHAT A TREAT. The rooms are lovely and the breakfast was very 'homy'. I would recommend this place to whomever wants a relaxing gettaway or even a long forthnight! Thanks a lot guys, for this great experience! Michelle More
