Cannot say enough good about this place. Great value. Great room. Very clean. Ron (owner) could have been one of the nicest, most helpful people we met in Ireland. Great hot breakfast. located just a couple minutes walk to downtown. If I get to Galway again, this is the only place I would stay.

My partner and I recently stayed at the Asgard guesthouse which we chose due to location and reviews. Whilst I cannot fault the owners the accommodation was sadly very disappointing. The room was at the back of the property and was only accessible through the dining room. The room was extremely small approx 8' x 10' with a small double... More

This was our second stay at this guesthouse. The first stay, about a year ago, was amazing! The owners are friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in was roomy and clean. And the breakfast was delicious. Unfortunately our second stay was another experience. I booked over a month in advance. When we arrive we were told that our room... More

Definitely a great place to stay. My girlfriend and I spent three nights there in May. The location is superb and the owners incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms, as with many B&Bs, are on the smaller side, but that's part of the charm. I'd highly recommend

A five-minute walk from the heat of town, this B&B provides the best breakfasts in the best venue. Nothing like looking up to see blue sky—or light rain—in a glass-roofed breakfast atrium. Owners/partners Mary and Ron make the stay special. Breakfast made to order, help with the luggage, plenty of parking space, suggestions of where to have dinner or what... More

Asgard B&B in Galway is superb. This was our first stop in Ireland the the owners couldn't have been more hospitable. The room was clean and comforable and the breakfast was excellent. The B&B is a short walk to the sites, restaurants, and pubs. Also the train and bus stations. We took the train from Dublin to Galway and ended... More

Mary made our stay here absolutely wonderful! She provided us with maps and ideas of places to eat, drink and just visit in town. It was just a short stroll to downtown Galway which made it VERY convenient. The breakfast room is great. It is a sunroom that looks out on a very well manicured lawn/garden. Breakfast was large and... More

We had a fabulous stay at the Asgard Guesthouse. Mary met us at the door and made us feel like family. The location was perfect, the room and beds comfortable and the breakfast delicious. Ron gave us some great suggestions for locations to visit. I wish we could have stayed longer. We would highly recommend this to everyone.
