This hotel was excellent value for money, with free parking in the front. It was an ideal base for touring the surrounding area and about a twenty minute walk to the town centre. Stayed for 4 nights and this is a great example of a Travelodge! Within walking distance to the centre of Galway. Rooms were clean, what little food we had was fine. Parking wasn't an issue. Although on a main road we didn't hear any noise at night and didn't feel the area was a problem for walking around later on. more

I'd forgotten what Travelodges were like, unfortunately. This is literally only acceptable as a roof over your head, and very little else. As a triple room, the double bed had a much too soft, saggy mattress and flat pillows (no extras). The sofa bed was rock hard, in contrast.
