Our room overlooked the river. We paid 20E a room for unlimited internet, a newspaper and bottled water. The internet borders on fraudulent. The wireless works only in the reception, and you can only use it in the room with a cable: ie useless for iPads, phones etc. Neither our paper or water was supplied until we asked. More

Stayed at the Jurys Inn in Galway a couple of weeks ago. The hotel itself is in a great location - right next to the Claddagh - situated by the river. The rooms are clean. We stayed here for 2 nights 7th-9th April having had to leave another terrible hotel. What a breath of fresh air with clean, bright modern rooms and very helpful staff.
