Service was diabolical. Arrived and got no instructions about breakfast time or location, we had booked two nights, one to include transport to the O2 which we didn't get any details about either. Went for our included dinner and were give a different, very limited menu and then had to wait for ages to be served, got a side-show of... more

I stayed here about 4-5 years ago and it was just excellent, so we booked the hotel without any hesitation for our return trip to Dublin. A big mistake. The room was ok but I expect a safe in every hotel room, and so we ended up carrying our valuables around which I am not keen on. There was no... more

Stayed here - hotel was shabby with dated decor. The place was seriously understaffed. The security men at the function we also attended were rude and aggressive. Would never stay here again. more

I booked at the Ballsbridge Inn via Hotwire (for $58 a night), and due to all these reviews, I was terrified of what I'd find. However, those fears were a waste of energy. We arrived at the hotel at 7am, and while I expected to just drop off my bags, they told me they had a room ready for us... more

We stayed here for 2 nights, had booked before U2 concerts were announced (as we knew they would be announced!) and got for a much cheaper price than if we had booked after. Wasn't expecting much as had read reviews here. Hotel is nice & spacious, but in serious need of some TLC! Room spacious, but so bare. First thing... more

When we booked the hotel we were certainly attracted by the price and the supposed 4 star rating. Suckers! When we arrived at the hotel we were made to queue for about 15 minutes before we could check in, this was made to feel like an eternity as they have Enya playing on a loop in the lobby. Our room... more

Very pleased with our weekend stay here. Easily within walking distance of the St Stephens Green/Grafton Street area, the hotel is in a nice end of town. Very friendly & helpful stafff. Nice bar in which to end the evening with a night-cap. All-in-all a good experience. more

On first sight i found this hotel to be a comfortable, peaceful and homely hotel with relaxing music playing in the lobby as you walk in but thats about all the good we took from the experience, all was lost as soon as we reached the reception desk. you know the usual speech you get from a receptionst on arrival... more
