A bit smallish, a bit worn down. But perfectly situated, and with the about kindliest personnel we've met anywhere. The restaurant downstairs is probably also about the best in Dublin. The only negative thing we can come up with is that the breakfast opens earliest at 8:00 (9:00 at Sundays), which is way too late for a middle-aged couple from Finland,... We stayed here for a girly trip for 4 nights and although the rooms were basic, the downside was the attitude of one staff member and the lack of facilities for anyone with a mobility issue. My friend had recently had an operation which was non weight bearing in her leg which meant she was moving around on crutches and... More

"I am writing this reveiw from my lovely comfy single hotel bed!!. We arrived at 8am yesterday and had arranged to have a breakfast, the restaurant is open to the public, so you have a menu to choose from with something to suit everyones pocket!. I haven't written a review before, even though we have stayed in countless hotels around... More

I was visiting friends in Dublin this fall and via word of mouth recommendation I booked in at the Kingfisher on Parnell Street. I lucked out! The woman who booked me in was lovely, and took the time to point out the best visitor attractions and cheapest ways to get there - from top to bottom she was happy doing... More

I went on a post Christmas break in Jan to Dublin. I had been warned that staying too central in Dublin is pricey and you get ripped off however I have to say I got an amazing deal for myself and 4 friends to stay there. We rented an apartment which was beautiful! Had plenty of room esp for 5... More

Picked this up from a website they are more apartments than rooms with an oven and fridge ( switch that off at night its noisy) basically over looking the street so there is a little noise but ideally situated seconds from O'Connell street where you will find Madigans and Murrays which are both good pubs and a ten minute walk... Comfortable little hotel right in the city center, excelent location. The room was clean and spacious, but there were no toilet amenities such as shampoo. Marvelous breakfast and very good value for money. More

Reasonable price and great if you enjoy being with the real life and away from the tourist mobs. Pretty basic -- but who wants to stay in the room??? Close to the hop-on hop-off tour bus which is a must for seeing the city, and an easy walk from the main sights. More

Cant go wrong with the location of this hotel. Located on Parnell Street just of the main shopping / tourist street, O'Connell St. Walking distance of Croke Park and many other attractions in Dublin. Including O2 (45 mins). Stayed here twice now and not been disappointed. Rooms are clean and are a nice size. Breakfast served in the cafe next... More
