4 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 June 2013 NEW

Stayed here in quad room (1 x double + 2 x singles) in June 2013 for one night (concert in the Aviva). Was a bit disappointed they weren't able to give me directions from the DART station on how to get there (I would have thought directions on how to get there from the nearest bus and train station should... It is an renovated century-old house, with authentic furniture and very friendly staff, situated a bit aside from main tourist attractions, but in pleasant wlaking distance to it. Problems which I experienced there were with pulling the luggage on the fourth floor over steep stairway, shower cabin being too small for me to fit inside ;), and the room being... More

We wanted budget accommodation with breakfast. Car parking is free but we had to drive out another guests car in order to get ours out, carefully watched by the lady. We had the front room, which was very warm as temp was 25 deg during the day. Had to open sash window, allowing a certain amount of traffic noise from... More

Don't expect hotel services, but comfortable for a short stay; Good points; Clean, towels good, tv in room and tea coffee etc. Breakfast very good and nice to have home made bread and soda bread (which they kindly toasted for me instead of the sliced stuff) Will do scrambled eggs if you don't want a fry up. Friendly and helpful... More

Slightly off the beaten path in Ballsbridge but central enough to walk to everything in Dublin.I was travelling with a couple and stayed in my own room at €79 per day. My room was at the very top/front of the older building with a view of the street which did quiet down enough to sleep with the window open to... More

The welcome, sevice, food and location were all excellent. Easy waking distance to Dublin with transport outside if preferred. Quiet location so undisturbed sleeps although only a few metres to shops and restaurants. Beds and linen were very good but the pine headboards need to be removed as they did not attach properly so creaked every time you moved in... More

Greated by wonderful staff. Room size was sufficient, but bathroom shower was in need of some refurbishment. The heat in our room did not work, so it was quite chilly (February). The breakfast was amazing- served piping hot every morning. The location was fantastic; easy to catch buses or just walk around. Loads of restaurants in the vicinty to choose... More

This B & B is incredibly well-placed, within walking distance of Stephen's Green. Good transport links, bus at the door, etc. Close to bus to airport too. It's basic in decor - and a shame. They could easily do much more with it. But very good beds and bed linens. Nice breakfast room, and good breakfast choice. The staff are... More

Staff were great & helpful. Breakfast was excellent also. Location was really good (city bound buses depart from outside the door) - so where did it go wrong? As other reviewers have said - the place is a little tired. The bed wasnt at all comfortable, whoever laid the laminate floor and did the decoration should be sued as its... More
