Stayed here Saturday the 26th May for one night. The hotel was very comfortable, and had nice décor. The rooms were large and very clean. The curtains were black out curtains so it was really easy to get a good nights sleep. There were spare towels in the room which was great and the windows opened enough to let a... More

Ideal if you want a reasonable hotel at a good price not too far from town. Location is fine and the bar, restaurant area quite ok. Service practically non existent. Ok if all you need is a room with no frills. Would not be my hotel of choice in Dublin More

I stayed here last year whilst working with a client whom was competing in a competition in the RDS for 3 nights. Location wise for our needs was great just across the road. I personally didn't pay for the room as it was covered by the client. However my room was as far as I could tell almost in a... More

Like others were a bit concerned about the negative reviews but having stayed in this fine old hotel, we can only think others have unrealistic expectations or the hotel has changed drastically. Our triple room was big enough for a double bed, sofa bed and single bed, ample and very clean if a little dated. We were delighted to have... More

I was staying in this hotel as part of a group of 6 middle aged professional women from work. We returned to the hotel after a super meal in a city centre Dublin restaurent and decided to have a night cap before bed. At about 1am there was still a small child in the bar, the mother of the child... More

Got a great deal online to stay here on Saturday night after a hen party. Enjoyed afternoon tea here on Saturday. When we were checking in at lunchtime, we could hear the sound of a piano drifting up the stairs from the brasserie - really lovely! The room was a decent size and was very clean. The beds were very... More

Six of us from work decided to have an overnight stay in Bewleys Ballsbridge on my recommendation, We booked 2 family rooms and specified these were for 3 adults and were very disappointed on arrival to find 2 beds and a camp bed in each room! I really do not think a camp bed is suitable for an adult, if... More

We went over for a friends 50th, and booked into Bewleys. Got a good deal from the internet inc breakfast. The hotel was warm, comfortable and had a good location to the party and the city. You can walk in, it will take about 30/40mins, we did it, a nice stroll. Rooms big enough for 2, good bar area, and... More

This is a great historical hotel. Clean, beautiful property with good sized rooms. Loved the "old school" feeling of the hotel. It is very close to the bus stop which is needed to get to downtown Dublin and very easy to navigate. Not a long ride, but the hotel is not within walking distance. It is in a great neighborhood... I stayed at Bewley's Hotel recently when attending a conference. Reception staff were really friendly and bar staff even friendlier. The room was great. Not big, not small, just a little bit like baby bear's porridge. The bed was fabulous....i felt like Goldilocks. You know that feeling when you are just exhausted and need a good sleep? The pillows were... More
