I have stayed at this hotel quite a few times over the past couple of years and have never had any complaints. The hotel is located just off O'Connell Street, just across from the Garden of Remembrance. Great welcome from staff, check in quick and room was ready. Room was clean and comfortable. Full Irish breakfast was excellent. Fantastic staff,... more

The St. George Hotel is situated far from the main Dublin's attractions. The bedrooms are average, small and missing character. The staff is friendly. The common areas are nicely decorated in a traditional way. At the price we have paied we were expecting more... At the end, breakfast is the best thing about this hotel. more

Stayed there for 3 nights last month and was pleased with my stay. Literally a minute walk from O'connell street guarantees you closure to everything you might need. Room was clean and comfortable, closet had a safe inside. The phone in the room wasn't working when I needed to use it on the first night of my stay, contacted reception... more

We stayed here 29-31 October 2008. It was a lovely hotel. Having read previous reviews, we weren't sure what to expect - perhaps something a little dingy and a little out of the way... we also got a good deal on a three-night stay and so suspected that cheap might mean we would compromise on quality... Our fears were unfounded.... more

We stayed at the St George Hotel in Dublin for 3 nights in September. The hotel is a great spot - right at the top of O'Connell St - so easliy accessible. The hotel is fairly small - only about 50 or so rooms. Check in was quick and easy and our room was ready for us straight away. Room... more

Approaching Parnell Square from the airport you come through some fairly run down areas and it seems miles from the likes of Grafton Street etc. However Parnell Square which has a tortuous one way system is in fact very central and the location is the best thing about this hotel. It is at the top of O'Connell Street and almost... more

We ended up at the Hotel St George after wondering the city of Dublin looking for a hotel for hours. The hotel staff was great! They let us look at the rooms before we decided on the ones we wanted. There were 6 of us traveling together and the rooms we selected had 3 individual twin beds in them, a... more

Just returned from a weekend break at Hotel St George and found it to be a clean, friendly hotel in a super location. As mentioned in other reviews the walls are thin and I could hear the loud snores coming from the next room but at least the area around the hotel was quiet, so pleased I didn't go for... more
