My wife and I stayed at the Schoolhouse Hotel for 4 days in December, 2011. It's a lovely place. Great value for the price. Rooms are unique, comfortable, and attractive. Hotel restaurant (including breakfast) is excellent. We enjoyed the location - a short walk to the downtown area, theatre, etc. Service was excellent and staff was very friendly and helpful. More

This hotel is great for business guests too. I book the Schoolhouse hotel on a regular basis for my colleagues and the staff at the hotel (especially Irene) are always very accommodating & friendly and look after our staff extremely well. They are highly efficent and nothing is ever too much hassle even short notice bookings! Irene and her colleagues... More

We recently stayed in the Schoolhouse hotel for one night recently whilst in Dublin and the hotel lived up to all expectations of a 4* property. The staff were courteous, friendly, well informed and couldn’t have been more helpful from check in through to check out. Our rooms were cosy, quiet and warm and in general the hotel had a... More

This is a charming little hotel approximately 15-20 minutes pleasant walk from the City centre. Once a school, many of the original features still remain, giving the building a cosy atmosphere. Our room was located on the ground floor just beyond the reception area. It was spacious and well equipped, clean and tidy. And there was no traffic noise, which... More

I had a really relaxing stay in the Schoolhouse Hotel just after Christmas this year - the perfect antedote to a couple of manic weeks with the family over the holiday period. I couldnt believe how well I had chosen; only a 15 - 20 minute walk into Grafton St/city centre past some of Dublin's best sites like Trinity College... More

Was really looking forward to staying based on reviews but it was a let down. The room we were given was in the basement. It was cold, dark, and the bathroom had no heating at all The bath was extremely shallow and unpleasant with some less than clean looking grouting. The room was adequate though hardly four star. The bed... More
