Stayed 2 nights in Lyndon Guest house and will not return. Room was cold, electrics were faulty, shower was a trickle, towels were hard, breakfast was very basic. was disturbed in my sleep by the manager at 11pm, demanding payment for the night. Centrally located to Mater Private hospital but would not recommend this place.

I am a retired hotel inspector and will be asking the AA to look into this guest house regards there status. I was visiting family in Dublin and decided to try what I would call budget accommodation in the city. Old habits die hard! The web site shows a clean well run establishment near the heart of the city. The... More

The only decent thing about this B&B was their breakfast. The room and towels were not clean at all, shower door would not close and there was so much mould it seemed to have life of its own. The extractor fan would not switch off and was extremely noisy- pointed out to the owner but nothing was done.

2 adults and 2 kids in family room - double bed and 2 singles - one nite for 95 euro. First impression of room was poor - signs of damp, carpet was obviously hoovered but was stained as was bed bases (no valances to hide this!). A small portable T.V was in the room - cracked window (this did not... More

Our room faced the street, which meant there was a lot of extra noise, but we were only there for one night before an early morning flight. The room was clean, with decent TV, although the bathroom had a strange smell to it. We booked a room with a shared bath, and they "upgraded" us to a private bath, so... More

We arrive on July 21, 2012. There was a funny smell as soon as we entered the building. One inspecting the room, it had 3 single beds jammed into a tiny room with a small bathroom. It didn't look or smell clean. Nothing like any of the pictures they show you on the internet. Their credit card machine didn't work... More

The bed and breakfast is cheap and on first impression, I did not like it, the street it was on did not seem pleasant and the guest house looked shabby. However! When we got to our room, yes it was shabby but also clean, bedlinen and toilet, shower etc, clean, Tea and Coffee facilities in the room. Not an ideal... More

We booked this guest house before reading the reviews. When I read the reviews we were a little worried, but we didn't have to be. The man that met us at reception was very pleasant and helpful. The room was OK, it was clean and tidy. Breakfast was good. Dublin City Centre is within walking distance with plenty of bars... More

Arrived at the Guest House and was greeted by the owner on reception. Checking in was all fine, we arrived about 11am and was able to go to our room then. The owner helped me with the bag's up the stairs. Once i reached the room i realised it wasn't all good. Room was very small, only really big enough... More
