We took a chance when we booked this hotel as never been to Dublin before and did not know the location. If you want a fairly quiet hotel but close to the city centre this is a great hotel. Very nice rooms, brilliant breakfast buffet and lovely attentive staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The Hotel is about a 20... More

We recently stayed here for just one night so that we could attend a concert at the O2, but we honestly wished that we could have stayed longer! It's location was perfect for us, as coming from Limerick it was just a quick stroll from Heuston Station and a short Luas ride into the city centre. Our room on the... More

I had gone for a holiday for the first time to Dublin and relied on Trip advisors' advice :) I had a lovely stay with my wife & kid and would like to highlight the highs & lows of our stay. Highs: Good food, generous helpings. The Thai chicken curry with rice is delicious ! Good decor, lovely breakfast !... More

Convenient to main attractions via hop on/ hop off bus, Heusten station, and Guinness Storehouse. 15-20 minute easy walk to Temple Bar. Great staff, comfortable rooms, and overall good experience. More

We booked here following end of a rather mediocre rail/bus tour. This hotel was lovely and employees most attentive albeit rather small room but very modern bath. Room was on 1st fl facing very busy thoroughfare. We did not hear a thing from the street. Convenient to Heuston rail, hop-on-hop-off bus, trolley service, etc. Too bad rail tour? we took... More

The rooms in the Ashling are very spacious with very large bathrooms on the top floors . The food in the resteraunt is excellent but if you eat there more than a couple of nights the menu is a bit limited. There's a couple of good eating places just up the road though. It's about a 15min walk along the riverside... More

I stayed here with 6 friends for my birthday about 2 years ago. The hotel is lovely, amazing location just opposite huston train station. Food is nice, rooms large and comfy. Long bathrooms and amazing showers! interior of the entire hotel I found to be lovely and modern yet warm and inviting. For the price this is a great hotel!... More

Clean, spacious rooms. Friendly and helpful front desk staff. We only had breakfast at the buffet and it was standard fare. Service in the dining room was sketchy. The location is the top selling point for this hotel. Mere blocks away from the entrance to Phoenix Park in one direction and museums in the other. Great pubs nearby. Heuston Station... More

A good friend who stayed here before recommended this hotel for us on our first visit. We were very glad he told us about this hotel. We arrived by bus from the airport and were let off at the Heuston Station. This is a short walk across a bridge and was no problem with our luggage. We used Heuston station... More

‘Great Location’ The Ashling is located on the Liffey, opposite the Guinness Brewery, a 10 minute walk away and a 20 min walk to Dublins O’Connell Street, or if you prefer hop on the tram at a cost of €1.60 to the centre, it passes the hotel entrance. The ‘Hop on Hop of' Dublin City Tour bus has a stop... More
