I was in this hostel couple of years ago. The price was good, but not that clean and quite. It's the classic place to spend one night, for a really reasonable price. It is near the city center. One good thing, the guy at reception was kind.

We stayed for one night. Despite the good location and the friendly staff the cleanliness of the place lacks entirely. When we arrived there they gave us a room that hadn't even been cleaned nor the sheets changed. Then when we complained they gave us another room that also did not have the sheets very clean.
In the end we...

When we arrived at the hostel we loved it at first. Comfy beds, nice spaces for hanging out, good kitchen. However, the room was extremely loud when we tried to sleep.
At 3:30 am the fire alarm in our room went off. The toilet on the floor above us leaked and it set off the fire alarm. Also, there was...

Simple rooms with usefull lockers and in January really nice temperature - the room wasn´t cold...

I spent three nights in the Marlborough Hostel, and I truly liked the place.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, advising about where to go dining, dancing, shopping etc. Even explaining about the culture when asked.
The room was clean. Fresh sheets at arrival however not changed during my stay.
Did see them changing sheets every time somebody left...

I had booked to stay in this hostel for six nights, but could only tolerate it for two. The standard of CLEANLINESS is dire – everywhere you look you find dirt and squalor; carpets are so soiled your soles stick to them, the bedding is disgusting – duvets are OLD and MOULDY, I witnessed the bedding changes twice and the...

We moved to here from the Dublin City Bunkhouse after being very unimpressed with the treatment we received there. Advance warning for Marlborough Hostel: this is budget accommodation and they don't pretend to be flashy. There is no pretence with this plae, they don't claim to be the unique cutting edge amazing renovated georgian townhouse cleanesr and best in the...

I spent three nights in the Marlborough Hostel, and I think it's one of the best hostels I've stayed in (and I've stayed in my fair share of hostels). The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the breakfast was great, with good variety, the location was very close to everything, and the rooms were clean and spacious. They even have...
