Spent one night in Dublin and needed a less expensive hotel. Didn't have a car and needed to be able to get to and from the airport easily. This hotel was in the perfect location. First stop off the Airlink 747 bus and last stop on the tram line. Hotel was new and very clean. There was an unfinished courtyard... More

Located at the last stop on the luas line, yards from the O2 and close to the Grand Canal Theatre this a very good modern hotel. Reception is located on the 3rd floor, a bit unusual, but when you arrive there the welcome is friendly from all the staff. Rooms are reasonable size with multi channel TV, and bathroom has... More

This is always my first option on staying in Dublin for any trip, be it the odd concert, or exploring Dublin. I have never been disappointed on any stay. The first thing is this hotel is super clean, super cheek and modern. All touches show the attention to any detail you could think of.From an iron in the room, free... More

I was in Dublin on business and was recommended to stay in a choice of 4 hotels with The Gibson being one of the recommendations. Typical me left booking the hotel till 4 days before never thinking that all 4 would be fully booked online. I rang The Gibson as this hotel looked the nicest and newst. It was late... More

A lovely modern hotel, great shower in the en-suite. But the room temperature was much to high and the air con seemed unable to bring it down which together with very thick duvets meant my wife and I spent 3 very uncomfortable nights there. We arrived on a Monday night to find the restaurant closed(it is closed Sunday and Monday... More

The main reason that I've awarded 5 stars is due to the excellent service. Every staff member I met has been trained to give the customer what he asks for. Believe me that is very rare indeed. Most of the hotels I stay in give service grudgingly at the convenience of the staff. The Gibson does the opposite. I commend... More

My new favourite hotel in Dublin. A little out of the way if you are planning to roll up and down temple bar, but it suited me perfectly on this trip (And actually, not that far if you are planning on a Guinness fueled night out) The hotel reception is on the 3rd floor which was a bit strange at... We stayed in The Gibson for the weekend primarily to watch The Who at the point but it turned out to be a great choice for numerous reasons. We found the hotel on a third party site at £87 a night with breakfast, always book it with breakfast because the quality of the food is great with a superb choice.... More

The room was very spacious with lots of space to store your items. Included in the room; flat screen tv, work desk with a chair, two chairs and a table, water, magazines to read and a mini fridge. The beds were very comfortable. Probably the most comfortable beds I've had in a hotel. There was also lighting under the beds... More
