we stayed at Adare B&B for four nights and we really enjoyed it! it's in the really nice and quiet area or Ballsbridge, perfectly located just out of the city center and easy to reach with public transports (10 min by bus) or walking (20-25 min). Catherine and Patrick are the perfect hosts, we always felt welcomed to their house... More

We stayed at Adare B&B for two nights as a start for our week in Ireland. It is a little out of the city, but located in a very nice and quiet area with everything you need (nice pub, restaurant, store, etc...). It's still at walking distance from the town center (20-25minutes, 10min by bus). Catherine & Patrick were very... More

As a solo traveller I enjoyed four nights at Adare prior to Easter 2012. For me Adare was a sanctuary after a day of sightseeing and shopping and an easy place to travel in and out of the city for plays at the Gate and Abbey Theatres of an evening. Catherine and Patrick were gracious hosts with that wonderful balance... More

When we arrived at Adare Bed and Breakfast, we quickly realized that we had found our long lost Irish family. We spent several days here. This lovely family welcomed us and our two year old son with open arms. We found the house quite charming and historic. After breakfast the first morning, the owner gave bread to our son so... More

Hi, Thank you so much for writing a review of your stay in Adare. Catherine and I appreciate it so much, hopefully you are all keeping well. I can see Micah in a green shirt playing cricket in the near future, he is in the best place to learn the game. Patrick and Catherine More

We booked this B & B as it was near the Landsdowne rd stadium for the rugby International. It was easy to get back and forth from the city especially with the 3 day pass ( 13 .50 Euros )on the busses which is also valid for the bus to and from the airport. Patrick and Catherine were very friendly... More

We were in Dublin for a couple of days to visit our youngest and to start out tour of Ireland. Adare House provided an excellent base from which to explore Dublin. Patrick and Catherine were welcoming hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. They were happy to hold our bags while we we spent our last day in Dublin and organised... More

Spent a few days with my wife at Adare recently and we really liked the place: It was nice & clean, the king size bed was very comfortable, and we slept well. Patrick and Catherine were very knowledgeable on local places to eat (several places offer 'early bird' 3 courses for around 20 euro). The tea making facilities (normally in... More

I had to spend two weeks in the Adare B&B and I really felt at home there. My room was so clean and comfortable, also the area was really safe and quiet, just 15-20 minutes walk from the City Center, nearby Herbert Park. I loved the warm breakfast room, where I could enjoyed a big breakfast every morning. But for... More

We took my parents to Ireland for 10 days. The last 2 nights were spent at the Adare Bed and Breakfast. Patrick, expecting us, met us upon our arrival and ushered us to our nicely furnished rooms. The beds were made up with luxurious linens and welcomed us after long days of travel and sightseeing. The breakfasts were made to... More

I feel very lucky to have found Adare b & b. I have stayed here twice and recommend it to anyone who wants to be close to the city but likes to be in a quieter neighbourhood. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. The food is very good. Access to the city by foot is definitely do-able.... More
