The Cove Lodge B&B is such a beautiful home. We had such an enjoyable experience. Liam and Joan were great hosts and treated us like family. The rooms were very nice. They have a very nice sitting room were we could all get together and visit. We were treated to a traditional Irish breakfast. We really enjoyed visiting with Liam... More

The Cove Lodge B&B is a nice and modern B&B just outside Donegal Town. It's 3km to the town so you could also walk in 30 minutes. The small rooms are new and bright furnished, the hosts are helpful and the breakfast very good. The B&B is directly at a lake and quiet even as it's a street.

Great location just outside of town. Beautiful setting in the Donegal Bay. Joan is there to take care of her guests...and she is a friendly soul. The rooms are quite small, but as clean as can be. Great nights rest and a good breakfast sent us on our way. You cannot go wrong here.

It's impossible to overpraise The Cove Lodge in Donegal Town. The setting is lovely, the house is beautiful and well kept, and Joan is a warm and welcoming host. Our twin room was small but comfortable and furnished with whatever we might need. There's a homey guest lounge that looks out on--surprise--a serene cove that is home to a variety... More

We spent 2 nights at The Cove Lodge in Donegal Town. Liam and Joan were excellent hosts. The accommodation was very clean, the room we had was homely, and the bed very comfortable. Lovely cooked breakfast was provided and the choice of cereal as well. Liam pointed out which places of interest for tourists were within easy travelling distance. A... More

We had an amazing time in Donegal. The Cove Lodge was beautifully appointed. We were made to feel right at home. Liam and Joan were amazing. They gave us a lot of information on what to see and do. Best shower in Ireland. We hope we have the opportunity to return to Ireland and The Cove Lodge. Thank you.

We stayed here 1 night on our 10 day journey. We really enjoyed this place. It has a very home like feeling to it. The entire family lives in the lodge which is totally fine, but makes you want to be very quiet the whole time. We enjoyed their lovely bedroom and bathroom. They even had a towel warmer which... Hi Margaret, apologies for the problem with the internet. As explained to your husband on your visit, it was a temporary issue and the full signal was only available in the sitting room. We were awaiting a call out from a Computer technician to ensure optimum signal in all all bedrooms - without a code, and thankfully this has now... More

We toured Ireland for a week, doing the bed and breakfast thing. The Cove Lodge was so lovely inside and out, as were our hosts. KT and I shared the twin room which was so clean and adorable. This is a welcoming place to be and centres around some wonderful areas. Truly the kind of B&B one would hope to... More
