Stayed just one night for a night out with friends. This hotel is in a good location and is reasonably priced, clean and friendly but ..... The rooms are small and we stayed on the only warm day so far this year and nearly cooked. The windows don't open (for safety reasons I assume) and we couldn't turn off the... More

Stayed here on business for one night. Good location in the centre of this busy buzzing city. Breakfast was good. Good value on a par with other hotels. Recommend to go to the Electric Bar along South Mall for excellent food. More

My wife and I stayed last Saturday night (May 19th) on the occasion of a friend’s birthday party which was held in the hotel. The party was great, we were well looked after by the staff. However our accommodation was not at all good and certainly not good value for money at 120 euro (without breakfast!). A tiny, hot, noisy... More

I stayed in the Imperial for a few days for business. Whilst the hotel was not bad it is nothing special either. I would have given it 3.5 stars, but since this is not possible on the Tripadvisor site I erred on the side fo caution. Here are some pros and cons: Pros: - Close to city centre - Reasonably... More

We have had two short city breaks in Cork in the last few months. On both occasions we stayed at the Imperial Hotel on the South Mall. The rooms are very comfortable and the service is excellent. Staff are well trained and extremely helpful. I think what we liked most about the Imperial is its dedication to customer service, both... More

i chose this hotel for my mother's birthday treat because of its location. It's right in the centre of the city, walking distance to all amenities. We really enjoyed it. The room was a standard twin, nothing special, both the bed was very comfortable and the linen was good quality. My only criticism is that it took some enquiries before... More

Nice hotel but notting special. Rooms are clean and fresh but a little dated. Hotel restaurant is first class we had dinner there on the night of our stay and found the food was excellent and staff friendly. Overall the staff are friendly and the hotel is centrally located in the city. Whould have no problem staying there agin. More

From when we first contacted the Imperial to organise our daughter's wedding they have been more than helpful. There were 75 guests and everyone was highly impressed with the layout, the decor and the delicious food that was served in a very efficient and friendly manner. Our sincerest thanks to all the staff and particularly to Linda and Jim whose... More

I stayed at The Imperial last week and I have to be honest about the disappointment I felt as soon as I walked into the room. It was very basic, not very spacious, the fittings (notably the dim and tawdry lamps, the wardrobe, curtains, mirrors, taps and shower head) appeared to have seen much better days. The room was too hot... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your feedback. I was disappointed to read your comments and I apologise for any shortcomings you experienced during your stay especially the lack of a good nights sleep.
