I was in Cork for one night for a few interviews and Rose Lodge was one of the cheapest b&b's that i could find online. But even at €39, it's not really all that cheap, and breakfast is extra! I found it difficult to find, my fault more than anything, actually drove by it twice, missed the sign in the... More

After reading a mix of very bad and very good reviews I decided to take the risk and stayed at the Rose Lodge for one night. I found it fine. It was clean, it was silent and the staff was curt but friendly. The room and the bathroom were tiny, but that I already knew. Moreover, I took a room... More

Checked in here for one night before travelling to Dublin. Very friendly service.. I was offered tea while I filled in the form. Double room was very clean and had all services... Tv, iron, wifi... Ensuite small shower room. Slightly old fashioned decor, good breakfast the next morning. Taxi phones in the hallway. Would recommend highly.

I wish we could have stayed here longer than a day, but the staff were unbelievably kind and the breakfast was rather good...the room was spacious enough (at least our double) and they offered us tea the moment we stepped into the 'lodge.' :)

The room is not even close to the one shown on their website. Small, stingy, cheap. window looks out at back alley. Sitting on toilet - no room for your legs. Very poor and cheap breakfast. Owner arrived late. we had to wait for her to make it. Not walking distance to the city centre (take number 8 bus) It... More
