I stayed at the Woodstock Hotel with a friend of mine at the weekend. It was a spa, dinner and B&B break. The bedrooms in the hotel itself are a little dated and could do with updating, but the lobby, bar and restaurant are lovely. Spent a fabulous weekend with my partner and two young children. The food was excellent and so was the service. Stayed recently in hotel. Excellent location and price. However the TV control did not work, one bedside lamp had no bulb and no stopper in bath. These are all simple things that should be checked and are important. Attention to details are vital. Food was fine and the place was warm. Staff were friendly. more
