Was stranded on Mull due to ferry being cancelled because of bad weather and managed to get a room at this cosy wee gem for the night. By far the best place we stayed in out of 3, ideally located for ferry terminal and buses around island, also handily situated above a pub/restaurant which does excellent homemade food. The room... more

Stayed here for one night in August. It was raining when we got off the ferry so decided to abandon camping for one night and stay in Craignure Inn as it had a vacancy. We stayed in Room 1 at the front and there were two serious problems. Firstly as mentioned in other reviews there is an issue with noise.... more

Dear Breaky20, We'd like to address your points as we do take complaints seriously. I am are very sorry for the uncomfortable sleep you had and we did apologise to you in the morning and said that you were the first person to complain about the bed and we took your comments on board then and changed the mattress. Secondly,...

We stayed 4 nights at this inn, and found it clean and pleasant, with friendly, efficient service. The meals served were good, and my husband would recommend the breakfast scrambled egg with trout. The bedroom was comfortable and well maintained, though a shower would have been a bonus. I would go here again. more

OK so it was a Sunday evening in Mull with little open.....but a lot was off the menu, and the "local haddock in beer batter" seemed suspiciously like a catering freezer job. If there is nowhere else to go, perhaps OK: otherwise there is a lot better to be had. more

Hi ihbSoctland, I'm sorry to hear of your experience at our inn. We always do our best to make sure our food is locally sourced and fresh as much as possible. The fish we serve is fresh and i'm sorry to hear it didn't reach your expectations. For six weeks we had great trouble sourcing some of the items on...

We stayed at the Craignure Inn for one night in May 2009, the room was basic and at the front of the Inn, we were kept awake nearly all night by 4/5 people sitting outside drinking and swearing and we think one or more were staff. Breakfast was o.k. but the plates were stone cold. It was very expensive for... more

Dear val211, We are sorry to hear regarding your disappointing visit with us and we'll take your comments onboard regarding the plates etc. We are the only pub in a ten mile radius in one direction and over 20 miles in other direction and at times particularly at weekends when the locals come out the pub will stay lively until...

Stayed here for 3 nights in May 09. Lovely room very clean and serviced daily (reading the previous review it is not on this place but another large hotel in Craignure, as there isnt a room 23) only 3 rooms in the pub and even though above a very popular little pub we didnt hear any noise. Good selection of... more

Dear Srongy39, Thank you very much for staying with us and apologies for the early starts but the breakfast time is limited due to the small number of rooms. Thank you very much for your kind comments and we are glad you enjoyed your stay with us.

Hi scottcoatbridge, We'd like to point out that your review is not of our inn. It appears that you've stayed at the Isle of Mull Hotel which is c. 1/2 mile outside the village of Craignure. We are a small inn with 3 rooms and located in the village of Craignure. Many thanks.

Firstly a great location especially if you are taking the morning ferry or arriving late. Safe off-road parking too. The bar is fun and food above average for this type of establishment. However the breakfast is only OK and the rooms whilst comfortable are somewhat overpriced. more

Spent last weekend at the Isle of Mull Hotel and would recommend it very highly. It has a superb location close to the ferry terminal, has excellent leisure facilities, staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was first class and very reasonably priced. Well worth a visit. more

Mull is an island in the Inner Hebrides of Scotland. You usually reach it by ferry from Oban. Most people go straight to Tobermory, the only town of any size on the island, but I stayed at what seemed to be the only hotel in Criagnure, where the ferry docks. It is a pub, so may be a little noisy,... more
