My daughter booked this online for myself and my husband (we are both in our 70's) for 7 days and what a lovely surprise the description on the website was excellent, both Bob & Morna made our stay unforgettable what with their rare breakfasts that my husband enjoyed every morning and their spotless rooms with lovely furnished beds they couldn't... more

The welcome was warm, the bedroom we chose was a delight, the ensuite bathroom was spotless and huge, the breakfast was excellent (brown bread to die for!) and we were thoroughly satisfied by the way the owners went the extra mile for us when I found I had left something behind. We couldn't fault this beautiful home in any way. more

I was extremely disapoointed in this Guest House. We arrived on a very wet dismal day, and the reception from the owner was to match. At 5pm, she said she wasn't expecting us "so early", showed us to our rooms then disappeared till next morning. The entrance to the Guest House was not lit and we missed it 3 times.... more

I am most upset by this review especially the the complainant's rooms and cleanliness ratings. We take pride in being Visit Scotland four star rated. This award is not achieved by having dreary decor and the inspection had taken place only 21 days previous to the ladies visit. Unfortuately it was dismal wet evening on which the complainant and her...

I stay here most months when over with work. It is comfortable and pleasant. I always get a good night's sleep and a hearty breakfast. I liked it so much that my family used it as a base for a short break in the area. The children loved the family room, which was a good size. We will definitely be... more

We stayed here for two nights in July. The room was large and bright and when we arrived and found the beds were not made up to our request they were sorted out without any fuss. The breakfast was very good and the fresh fruit was lovely. The two vegetarians in our party were well catered for. I kept a... more

After staying in several B&Bs throughout Scotland, this was not one of my favorites. We arrived in the afternoon and were greeted by a lady who did not introduce herself. In fact, she barely said a word. Showed us our room, 1st floor right in the door, which was great for lugging suitcases, and off she went. The room was... more

My friend and I stayed in the Langley Bank Guest House whilst on a short break to Scotland and I must agree with the previous reviewer's opinion. It was terrific! The room we stayed in was a twin which overlooked the back garden and it was really peaceful lazing around doing nothing but drinking wine and reading books in the... more
