We first visited Pitlochry in October 1996 with our two small children Faye & William. We were pointed in the direction of Craigroyston by the Scottish tourist board and had the pleasure of meeting Greta and Douglas for the first time, we have returned every year since and look upon Craigroyston as our home in the Highlands. We cannot speak... More

A very clean and pleasant guest house and our room was comfortable and attractive. Our hosts were obliging and the staff diligent and friendly. The position of the guest house could not be bettered - conveniently located to the town centre but quiet with parking available. Excellent breakfast and tariff was reasonable. Woulfd return here again. More

Craigroyston House was a pleasant surprise in the wonderful old town of Pitlochery. The location is right in the heart of town and with parking provided, it is an easy walk to shops & restaurants. The B&B itself is set in an elegant old house with nice, large rooms and comfortable beds. A large parlor with a delightful figreetedted us... More

Craigroyston has a friendly staff, the rooms are clean, breakfast is quick and of good quality, the greatest plus in my view is the convenience to town shopping and visiting, and the cozy fireplace blazing with coal during cold autumn mornings and evenings. The one thing clearly missing from this otherwise wonderful B&B is the absence of complimentary wine or... More

We booked Craigroyston House for our first night's stay of a week's touring holiday of Scotland. We had a wonderful, albeit brief stay. Douglas greeted us on the doorstep and made us most welcome. The room was airy and the bed comfortable. The shower was excellent. The roaring fire in the lounge drew us for an hour or so in... More

Not particularly knowing Pitlochry, we selected this place mostly because of its situation, but the 3 days we spent extremely pleasant due to a warm welcome, pleasant rooms and a great breakfast...We shall be back, given the opportunity. The comments in the Guide vert and guide du routard are quite accurate. More

We visit Pitlochry every year for the scenery and the unique Festival Theatre (stay six days -see six plays). For many years now we have stayed at Craigroyston House. The rooms are large, airy and beautifully presented. There is a wide selection of cereals and cooked dishes for breakfast - all served with a smile. If you want to relax... More

We stayed one night in Pitlochry. This was a great BanB. Our room was very large and we had a great view of the city. The location is centrally located and we could walk to restaurants and local attractions. Gretta is nice host and gave us a warm welcome. We would definitely stay here again. More

We stayed only one night in Pitlochry and wished we had more time. There are a lots of scenic walks in the area. Our room at Craigroyston House was the largest we had at any B&B in Scotland. The breakfast was very good. The location is great as you can walk to restaurants, shops, and down to the river from... More

We stayed at the Craigroyston for three nights and were very impressed. We had a warm welcome from Gretta and from Douglas with a roaring fire in the beautiful sitting room. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room we had was very comfortable. The bathroom was big and the shower was easy to operate. (an unusual experience... More
