We stayed here for one night in September on our way up to the highlands. Dunmurray Lodge is situated uphill from Pitlochry centre, possibly too far to walk for the less able. There is parking for 2-3 cars at the back of the property, other than that I don't know of the nearest available parking. The house itself was beautiful... More

Dunmurray Lodge is about a short downhill walk from the centre of Pitlochry. It's a beautiful house and there are extra touches everywhere to make your stay comfortable. Tony and Irene are great hosts and we really enjoyed our visit. Thank you both!! More

We recently had an excellent one night stay on our way to Ullapool. The room was spotless, very pleasant and extremely comfortable and the breakfast was wonderful! Tony and Irene couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful and we greatly enjoyed our long chat with Tony before heading off next morning. Only a brief stay, but we would highly recommend... More

We stayed in the Stewart room for 3 days from 19 September. The room was small - it was difficult to open the bathroom door without it catching on the bed. This was acknowledged by the owner with the comment that "the price reflects that". There does not appear to be anything on the website to indicate that this room... More

Two weeks prior to this guests visit Dunmurray Lodge was subjected to the Visit Scotland Quality Control Inspection and were graded high end 4*. Additionally, the vast majority of TA reviews grade Dunmurray Lodge as Excellent. Dunmurray Lodge is our home and we are genuinely sorry that the real benefits of our guest house were, in this instance, invisible to... More

On reading the comments of purple022, I thought that I would put forward my views as this is not the place we describe as our highland retreat. Dunmurray has two very fine hosts in Tony and Irene.Welcoming, warm and make every possible effort to meet the needs of their guests. Any request is dealt with total customer satisfaction. Both really... More

We come back to Dunmurray year after year because it just cannot be beaten for quality, comfort and cleanliness, and that's in addition to having the best host and hostess you'll find anywhere. Our room was cosy, absolutely spotless, with a bigger than king-sized bed (made with top quality bedding), and a good selection of refreshments. Nothing is ever too... More

Just back from a 2 night stay with my husband at the Dunmurray Lodge. It is a beautiful b&b and the owners are very helpful and lovely. We arrived half hour early but were welcomed in, given the guided tour, shown to our room and had a great guide given to the town itself. The room was very spacious and... More

My husband and I stayed at Dunmurray for 5 nights. We had a beautiful, comfortable twin room. The beds were excellent , as were the bathroom facilities (ensuite). The B&B is on a quiet road in a lovely, welcoming location. Tony and Irene were solicitous and helpful hosts. Tony offered to and did transport us to the rail station both... More

Dunmurray Lodge in Pitlochry is without any doubt the best bed and breakfast accommodation I have stayed in. I was there with a friend for three nights in August and I wished I had booked the whole week! A wonderful courtesy service from the start when the host met us at the station off the 12.00hrs train from London Kings... More

This B&B is well situated and has good safe parking round the back. The owners were friendly and informative, the breakfast perfect. The room felt a little cramped but quite adequate for an overnight stop. Everything was immaculate. More
