This was probably the star place of the whole trip – we stayed in 7 different places altogether. Perth seems short of good places to stay and this was a real find by any standard. We had a lovely 1 night at Taythorpe Guest House. A very warm greeting by Sheryn. The bedrooms were big and comfortable with a very clean ensuite, very tasteful throught out. We had a harty breakfast looking out to the back garden. Would recommend a stay to anyone, but try for more than 1 night. Would love to stay again... More

Simply WOW! Stunning accomodation of the very highest standard coupled with amazing owners who made us feel most welcome. I doubt you will a higher standard of B&B in the area or dare I say all of Scotland?? Thanks to Sheryn and Bruce for a real "Home from Home" stay. More

We stayed there many times because this was the best guest house we ever had in Scottland. It is a very lovely house. The breakfast was excellent. You get all what you want. We are so glad we stayed at Taythorpe Guest House. We received a warm welcome from Sheryn (a fellow Kiwi) and her husband, Bruce. A lovely big house with a guest sitting room which is a bonus. stayed one night here in this luxury guest house on isla rd just north of perth. very nice large bedroom with en suite bathroom of simler size. breakfast of cruise ship standard. lady owner very pleasant and friendly. would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone More

Stayed in the Taythorpe Guest House 9th 10th august 2008 2 adults and 2 children Greeted by sheryn and shown to our rooms. we had 2 inter connecting rooms each room had 2 single beds in. The Taythorpe its self is a beautiful large house the inside has been decorated to a very high standard..... the bedrooms are very clean... More

Arrived wet and weary. Immediately made welcome and shown to a beautifully appointed room. Intended to stay 1 night but stayed for the rest of our holiday! This is a model for others and I cannot recommend it highly enough. More
