A quiet, peaceful and amazingly beautiful place to stay! It's like staying at home away from home, cosy and friendly atmosphere. The rooms are clean and comfortable, in the morning you'll get an excellent breakfast to start your day after good night sleep. Great walks around on the hills and mountains. Cute local small villages in a day tour distance.... More

It was really nice to be back at Kiltyrie. Jane and her family was as friendly as ever. We tried the nature walks suggested by Sarah Watts - nice. The Crannog Centre at the Eastern end of Loch Tay is really worth a visit; try to make fire with a bow and a stick, it's not easy. We're longing to... More

This farmhouse B&B gives a superb view of Loch Tay and we were lucky enough to see the first autumn frost on Sunday morning. The mist over the Loch is breathtaking at this time of year. If you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing and stressless break then this is the place for you. Jane cooked for us on our... More

We were planning on sleeping one night in this B&B, but stayed there four nights, as we felt really at home! First the two major aspects of a B&B: the Bed slept perfect and Breakfast was the best we had during our trip in Scotland. The location is beautiful, quiet, but within close distance of nice restaurants, culture sight-seeing and... More

We travelled one week through Scotland and stayed at the Kiltyrie for three nights. Room: We had the double room with the fireplace which can be seen on the pictures. The room and bathroom were both very well equipped, clean and felt very comfortable. There is also a spacious guest lounge with lots of books and a tv. Breakfast: The... More

This B&B is definitely worth the stay if you're in this area. I had very little idea what to expect when I arrived but the remote location really appealed to me. I struggled to find reviews though a couple of good references to it in various traveller blogs convinced me to take and punt. And it is definitely worth it.... More

Calm and relaxing atmosphere. Spectacular views of Loch Tay and surrounding mountains. Hearty breakfasts with fruits, berries and vegetables from the garden, and eggs from own freerange hens. Very warm and friendly atmosphere and excellent service. Restaurants, pubs, bank, post office, hairdressers, bakery, fishmongers etc. available in Killin a few miles away. Lovely garden, full of wild birds. The Ben... More
