We were lucky enough to be able to hold our wedding at this fantastic country house. Jonny's outstanding service and attention to detail made our wedding day truly memorable. From the very first visit for our initial enquiry, it was clear that Jonny would listen to our wishes whilst giving us the benefit of his vast experience which proved invaluable.... More

This was an amazing property. The food and service were great. Johnny was most helpful in getting my husband a warm and delicious meal even though we arrived quite late due to a blown tire. Really, I can't complain about a thing. However, being from the States, and a rather dry one, it should be known to others who suffer... More

Stayed at the Boath in May for a night as a treat for my wife. The room, ambience, service and food were all faultless. We have had this on our radar for some time and were not disappointed. Class without pretension and an attention to detail which can only come from a group of people who care about what they... More

Had a lovely stay at Boath House in March 2012. We stayed in room 3, which was charming. The staff and owner, Don Matherson, went out of their way to make us feel at home. The food at dinner was exellent and the service was friendly. Breakfast was fantastic and the porridge was a real treat. Altogether we were made... More

We had called the hotel in the morning of our stay and were plesently surpised to have been upgraded as there was a better room available, this is a great policy which more hotels should adopt. Upon arrival the welcome was helpful if not warm. Our room (5) was lovely and we enjoyed a long soak in the large copper... More

Thank you for taking the time to review Boath House. We are delighted that you enjoyed your short honeymoon with us. I am sure that you will get much joy from the Mcallisters artwork and it will remind you of your time in the Highlands. We look forward to welcoming you back to Boath on another occassion - perhaps your... More

Stayed for 3 nights in room 3 (so called superior) and was very disappointed in the room standard, light fitting rose was hanging off the ceiling, the TV had no signal, the bed knob over head was ready to fall off. In the bathroom the skirting had a large hole showing dust and hair lodged. At £450 per night dinner... More

We stayed at Boath House for the weekend at the end of March. I have never had better food, or better service, anywhere else I have stayed. It is very pricey, but very very good. We will definitely go back. More

Stayed for one night in January with dinner and I don't thinkIcan do the setting, food or staff justice in words. THis was truly one of the best hotels I have ever been to. We were taken care of attentively from start to finish in our stay. The restaurant food is at the higher end of the one michelin star... More

I was invited to Boath House for a bridal shower in a party of 16 ladies of all ages. We were welcomed into the lounge and soon invited through to the dining room. There was another family enjoying lunch in an adjacent, discreet dining room, but we did not feel there we were disturbing them, because of the layout. We... More
