Stayed here 1 night with my boyfriend. The couple allowed their son to knock on our bedroom door more than once. Kind of disturbing considering we were on a couples vacation. We had to stop by the family room and listen to them read their good reviews printed off this website. Not exactly an activity one wants to participate in... More

It's just in the center of the town, everywhere is within 3 minute walk (bus station, train station, eating place, super market). It's also on the edge of the sky bridge, so if you want to take a walk, it's a good starting point. Michael is very friendly and nice, I just feel at home. One only small thing is... More

We stayed here for two days in September and used it a hopping off point for Skye. Mike and young Josh were extremely friendly and helpful, which made our stay all the more pleasant. The house is showing its age in some areas but our room was comfortable clean and quiet with all the necessary amenities (and Mike brings up... More

Michael has in the last few weeks lost his wife. He is a lovely man. He has a lovely son. He cooks wonderful generous breakfasts and he offers a very warm welcome. His B&B accommodation is spotlessly clean - rooms, seperate toilets and bathroom. The bedding is impeccably clean , towels too.... The accommodation is basic with scope for modernisation.... More

At first my friend and I thought it's a mistake to stay for one night in Kyle of Lochalsh, but the B&B is an unexpected surprise! Mike (the owner) was very helpful and kindly gave us a number to call him if we got stuck in Eilean Donan Castle. His son Joshua took us to the lighthouse and showed us... More

I stayed 2 seperate nights. Could not be more satisfied. The first night was an unsheduled midnight arrival after train breakdown from London. Even at this hour I received a warm welcome. My stays were the most friendly of the many B&Bs I have experienced in extensive travels! A mixup in deposit and payments was courtesely and satisfactorily resolved. If... More

We came to The Old Bank House in May 2010 for one night. We were really well welcomed by Mike and Sally. They told us a little bit more about Kyle of Lochalsh and what to do around the town. The room was really cozy and comfortable, we slept very well and the breakfast was great. You do have to... More
