Stayed at beginning of month. Got this hotel as cheapest one available off search website as I just wanted a room at cheap price. OK, certainly not a top hotel but always good to find somewhere that exceeds your expectations. For what I paid for single room (which was double at single rate) at £35, the quality of room and... We stayed 3 nights and it is a exellent hotel to plan you're trips trough Scotland. Friendly staff and the rooms are clean and you have everything you need. If you wish you can make you're own breakfast in the kitchen or go to the pub in the highstreet who is nearby.

Located in the centre of town so pretty handy. Bags were being transported by a company for the west highland way but there was nowhere to put them other than the bottom of the stairs which isn't very secure. The décor is dated and the shower door was broken. The staff were friendly.

Cheap, cheerfull and handy for town. The kitchen is pretty small and the dinning area lounge is not somewhere you'd spend a lot of time. On the first night all the tables were in use so nowhere to sit down and look at the maps/books. It felt fairly tired compared to some of the hostels i've stated at in the... More

The hostel is near the rail station and main street (Tesco express, banks, shops, tourist info centre). The room was too spacy but clean. There is no lockers in the room. The restroom in ground floor has 2 showers booths without door (only curtain) and one toilet. Another restroom is bigger and combine toilet and shower in one room (... More

spent 1st night in a 4 bed dorm. was perfectly clean, and was all you could ask for really! toilets were perhaps lacking in numbers as if you got up at rush hour you could face a queue, but i didnt have any such issues. kitchen and common room all kitted out well. 2nd night was in a private room... Stayed in a 4 bed room which was clean and tidy. Kitchen was small but well equipped, opposite was a TV lounge / dining room. Showers were quite old school with curtains separating them rather than solid partions or cubicles, found it difficult to get much hot water (choice of high pressure of cold or a trickle of hot). There's... More

Spent one night here with my husband and 9 year old daughter,we were given a family room, which consisted of a double bed and a single bed,tv with freeview, kettle with tea/coffee etc and we had our own private shower/bathroom. Room was slightly dated, but, bed linen was clean and fresh, room was warm and there was plenty of hot water, there were a lot of... More

I wasn't expecting much for the price, but it turns out that this is not a bad place at all. The rooms are clean and comfortable equipped with tv and a decent bathroom. There is no breakfast or dinner here, but there is a kitchen to make you're own stuff. I didn't bother, as it was the last night of... More
