We stayed at the Grange for one night as we travelled through Scotland. When we arrived Joan served us tea in the lovely cosy lounge - open fire, silver teapot, lovely china and home made shortbread - such a treat! We stayed in the Turret Room which was lovely and decorated to a very high standard! It felt very homely... More

Staying at the Grange was one of the highlights of our holiday. It was the best bed and breakfast we have ever stayed at. The house was beautifully furnished with delightfully whimsical touches. The porridge with whiskey was a nice gourmet treat and not to be missed. Joan was very warm and welcoming and the other guests were a delight to... More

This is truely a 5 star guest house. Everything is just perfect from the first welcome by Joan with a cup of tea served in the cosy lounge - silver service of course. We stayed in The Turrent, a beautiful room with superb views and luxury en-suite bathroom. All the little thoughtful touches make such a difference like the small... More

We loved our stay at The Grange and cannot recommend it highly enough. We arrived at Fort William in the morning by sleeper train and even though our room was not quite ready, Joan made us really welcome with coffee and homemade shortbread. Being slighly higher on the hillside than other guest houses in the immediate area means that The... More

This was our first trip to Joan and John's home, and we were extremely pleased with every aspect of our visit. The house is beautiful and all rooms overlook the Loch. We stayed in the Garden room which had sumptuous decor, lots of 'soft' and cosy furnishings and a fantastic Villeroy and Boch bath which more than satisfied four very... More

Absolutly perfect, our first time in Scotland and one of the reasons that we shall come again. Joan is the perfect host, the rooms are better then 5 star hotel rooms, more than clean and so tasteful. Ask Joan about " The Smiddy Inn" for dinner. More

My regret is that we only had one night here. Very friendly and welcoming. A stunning place, immaculate. Bedroom and bathroom lovely, with a good view of the loch. Really peaceful. The choice and quailty of breakfast was outstanding. More

We only stayed for one night, but could have easily spent a whole week if it were only for the luxury of the home and the friendliness of Joan the landlady. The home itself is gorgeous, the rooms are large and superclean. There wasn't the tiniet thing out of place. You could eat of of the floors. It is super.... More

Stayed here 29 Jul-1 Aug inclusive as part of hubby's 'significant birthday' family treat. Ten minutes walk out of Fort William, this beautiful property is set up and back from the main thoroughfare, and is the most luxurious and calm oasis. It's an old property, exquisitely and tastefully furnished to the highest standard; our room 'The Turret' had beautiful furnishings,... More

We stayed at The Grange in June as part of our honeymoon. Having walked the West Highland Way with a load of our friends and family it was a very welcome stop. We stayed in the Garden Room which has views out over Loch Linnhe and is decorated immaculately in a luxurious, modern style. The enormous tub bath filled quickly... More
