My daughter and I recently stayed at the Daviot Lodge with Alan and Margaret Hutchison and were very please with our accomodation. Room was large, bathroom very large and hosts friendly. I have to agree with all those who have criticised the attitude of the owners. The house is located scenically but the attitude of the owners is a disgrace. Standing in a rather bleak field this gem is full of surprises. Our room was simply beautiful with a lovely view, a glorious bathroom and dreamy four-poster bed.
