There was absolutely nothing bad to say about this place. The location was great, the staff extremely helpful and responsive. Easy to walk everywhere in town once you have arrived. The room and bathroom were spacious. Definitely somewhere I would return to and recommend others to stay. I think this was also the only place we stayed with blockout curtains... More

This property is in an excellent location on the riverbank in the centre of Inverness, a 2 minute walk to the nearest pub & restaurant and only a short stroll from the busier pubs and shops on the high st. The reasons I say that this guest house is more like a hotel are as follows, size of property, keycards... More

Great location next to the river yet a short walk from the centre. Hosts were very friendly and helpful with local knowledge, the room was ok, at the back so not a great view and the bed was rather hard, in general the place could do with a makeover as the decor is rather musty and dated but the personal... Very friendly people. Clean, quiet room, decor not brand new but everything you could need for a short stay provided. A lounge to sit in with wifi available. Lovely full breakfast cooked to order and I enjoyed the porridge. Nice extra was the offer to help yourself to sherry/port in the evening with a nice selection of home made treats! More

We stayed in the MacGillivray Room for two nights. The room didn't have a good view but it was very comfortable and very neatly kept. They have a nice folder of things to do in Inverness in the room to help you plan your holiday even better. The owners were very friendly and suggested good things to do around Inverness,... More

The guesthouse was in a perfect location. We stayed in Kennedy room, a family room with one double bed and two twin beds. The host was hospitable. He introduced the place and provided a town map for us to explore. Room was spacious and clean, with good view. Morning breakfast was excellent and delicious. We were excited to have traditional... Location, location, location. This is literally right across the street from the footbridge in Inverness...an easy walking distance to great restaurants and pubs. We were a little taken aback at first as we were told that we were "late" to arrive...we felt like we had a curfew and were in trouble. ;) Parking is on the street. There are stairs... More

With our baby girl we stayed our last night in the Highlands in the Westbourne Guest House. It was a good choice - although the house and our room was slightly run-down in details. But without renovation that might become critical in the future. Friendly and helpful owner. Good breakfast. A cot was provided free of charge. More

Classy guesthouse on the left bank, of the river, in Inverness. Room was like a palace, with excellent en-suite facilities and well furnished, also TV/DVD player in room (with a collection of DVDs available to borrow). Cooked breakfast was excellent, a true highland feast, and service was very quick. Computer with internet access available in a lounge. Note that this... More
