Had a meal in the bar which was excellent. Can also recommend the Orkney ale. Room & shower were clean & comfortable if a bit tired. Breakfast was very good too. The only real downside was that despite the nice desk space for a laptop, the wifi didn't work in the room - only in the reception & bar areas. More

Stayed at the hotel for one night before heading to Orkney and it was sufficient for that. The room was very tired looking, and in need of a complete makover, Staff were helpfull, food was a decent pub standard. Reasonable value though. More

We stayed at the Castletown Hotel for two nights at the start of a big bike ride. Everyone was very welcoming, we were able to put our bikes under cover, the room was fine. Good breakfast choices from a buffet (and it had the best selection of fresh fruit we found in our travels!). Convenient base for touring. Good value. More

we stayed here for one night, staff friendly , food in bar was nice, good choice of breakfast. Room was nice and clean. We arrived on motorbike and was pleased to hear the night porter kept an eye on our bikes at night when they were in car park. Would stay here again More
