The Hotel is located within central Aviemore close to the main shopping area and local facilites. Ok, I know it said 3 star and it was all we could get at the resort, but I was expecting travel lodge standard. I was not impressed with this run down dingy cramped family room. The Macdonald Academy hotel is to be avoided. From the rudest staff I have ever come across who shout at their customers to corridors with plentiful damp patches all over the room.
