Stayed twice in 2011, and on both occasions received a warm welcome from Gail & Peter. Rooms are lovely, as is the fantastic breakfast. I wholeheartedly recommend this place. Stay once and I'm sure you'll be back.

Staying in Aviemore was not our first preference - we prefer to stay off the beaten track in small, quiet locations. But, we had trouble finding a vacancy so settled for the Cairngorm Guest House. The rooms are basic but clean - more like a budget motel than a B&B. Breakfasts were great and the staff very helpful with advice...

Stayed here for one night in Novemeber 2011. Even though this was "off season" the staff were friendly on arrival and showed us to our room. For the price (£30 per person per night) the room was well equipped and clean. Breakfast was the best part of the stay and compares very well to other b&bs I've stayed in. Overall,...

We stayed at the Cairngorm Guest house in August and had a wonderfull time.
We were made to feel very welcome and were given lots of information, maps and advice on where to go and what to do .
Our room was very pleasant, perhaps not as glamourous as some of the more expensive hotels we have stayed at, but...

Overall our stay was fine. The breakfasts were a real highlight and the landlady was really nice and helpful. Our room was very clean but our stay was spoiled by paper thin walls (we could hear people's conversations and people coughing and spitting in the bathroom) and other guests who were noisy, drunken and aggressive (arguing outside our room at...

After three days trekking through the Cairngorms probably anywhere with a roof and a bed would be a welcome sight, but this guest house easily exceeded our expectations and is well deserving it's ratings! There were three of us (all guys), walking in with muddy and wet kit, our room was waiting for us - as was our box of...

This guest house was a pleasure to stay at. From the point of check in I knew we made the right choice. The room and the service was excellent. Upon exiting the hotel to explore Aviemore we where advised on what to see and do which was a great help. I cannot pick any faults what so ever, I highly...

We extended our holiday in Aviemore by 3 nights staying at the Cairngorm Guest House. We were greeted by Peter, who is was very informative and gave suggestions as to where to go for dinner that evening. The following morning we were greeted in the breakfast room by Gail. She is a lovely lady, quite happy to chat with you...

My partner and I stayed at Cairngorm Guest House for one night. From the minute we arrived we were made to feel most welcome. Margaret greeted us, gave us a quick tour and made some suggestions of places to have our evening meal (we ended up at Roo's Leap which was excellent). After showing us to our room she returned...

Arrived here on our train trip, the guest house was a fair walk up through town, but easy walking, even with our backpacks. We had the double deluxe rooms they were really nice and clean, with all the normal facilities. We went to the Old Bridge for supper which was right through to the other end of town, so again...
