Good option for a stay in Aviemore (we have stayed twice). The Room was clean and had everything you need. Breakfast was superb and the owner was very friendly and welcoming. More

The highlight of my quite frequent visits are the sausages for breakfast with scrambled egg. They don't have a tough skin and the consistency of the meat is smooth with no gristle bits. If I could buy them I would but they are only for the trade. 8:30am breakfast suits me fine. I find the welcome and the chat most... More

We were on a fly through roadtrip of Scotland and after a long day of driving were able to get a last minute room at Vermont B&B. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, the room was spacious, ensuite and clean. The location is within a short walking distance to local shops and restaurants. The breakfast was nice and made... We stumbled upon the Vermont in Aviemore by accident and am so happy that we did. Ellen was very accomodating, and we were made very welcome from the first minute we entered. Prices were amazingly reasonable in comparison with some of the neighbouring establishments. We are given a choice of rooms, which we both very clean and well presented and... More

My daughter and I spent 10 great days in Aviemore. Ellen was a wonderful hostess (hardly saw George). Room was clean and spacious and the access to town was great. Good location for reaching Inverness where tours begin. A wonderful steam train luncheon, a ride up the Cairngorm Mt and lots to do if you are able. We thoroughly enjoyed... More

Good central location but arrive early as there is restricted parking within premises. Room was adequate but the pillows were past their sell by date. Breakfast was disappointing with salty bacon and poor quality sausages. This was surprising since Aviemore has a first class butchers' shop with lots of top quality sausages and black puddings. Be prepared to get up... More

Only just found I can reply to guests comments. Can I just correct some of the points made. We have parking spaces for 6 cars to accomodate our 6 rooms, this has been officially passed by the planning and roads department, you must have enough parking spaces.(actually you asked to leave your car in our property for an hour or... Perfectly average, clean, with fairly comfortable bed. RIght on the main street, which made it a little noisy for a light sleeper. Breakfast was fair. Convenient to shops and food. More

A lovely friendly welcome can be expected from Ellen & George every year. We always stayed when we come to Aviemore. Good breakfast with all choices. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Convenient off-road parking. Few minutes walk to local amenities. We would recommend the Vermont Guest House to anyone who wants to stay and ideal for travellers. We booked... More

Still on he road from Land's End to John o' Groats, Aviemore made a logical stop. The Vermont is situated at the end of the main street that is Aviemore. With parking at the back of the guest house, this made a perfect stopping point. We were welcomed as we drove in, and were shown to our rooms. We were... More
