We stayed here in January for a 2night break with the in laws. Gorgeous, homely chalet- very warm & cosy! The kitchen is well equipt & the beds are extremely comfortable! I can imagine this would be great in the summer- there is an outdoor bbq & a play area for kids. Staff very friendly & helpful. Not far from... More

I stayed at Cairn Lochan in Pine Bank Chalets with a group of friends for a week. We were impressed with the location of the lodges as they felt rural yet it was only a 10 minute walk into Aviemore. All the lodges were nicely spread out and we didnt feel like we were disturbing anybody else throughout our stay.... More

I stayed at Pinebank Chalets for Hogmanay with a large group of friends (in three chalets) and we had a great stay. The location is perfect - only a five minute walk from the town - and the facilities were very good. Some of us stayed in the houses and some in the chalets. They were all very clean and... More

The location of the chalets is good. Not quite rural but quiet enough for you to be able to imagine you are in a forest somewhere. Overall these chalets are ok. Our was rated 4 star but in comparison to other 4 star chalets we have stayed in i was very disappointed with this one. Bedrooms are small but do... More

An easy walk from the station and a warm welcome from owners Simon & Tanja kicked off a great long weekend up in Aviemore. Very comfortable accommodation, a great site, and all within easy reach of the activities we had lined up: quad-biking & tree-zone. Thoroughly recommend the Bridge Inn next door too for food and live music: "Over the... More

We decided to stay at Pine Bank Chalets and use it as our base for a weekend of activity in Aviemore and the surrounding area with friends. We could not have made a better choice!! From being greeted and shown to our chalet by the Pine Bank Chalet 'team' (including Bennett, the ever friendly and loveable dog) we couldn't fault... More

Perfect venue for us as we wanted somewhere quiet after a pretty hectic eight months. Cabin was well equipped although you should be prepared for a trip to tesco for cooking essentials or a hair dryer. We enjoyed walking in nearby Rothiemurchus and a journey on the steam train. More

We really loved it here. We stayed in the smaller chalet for two people and there was tons of space in a well laid out, clean and comfortable accommodation. The beds and kitchen facilities were all great. The open plan living area had comfortable seats and plenty of channels on the TV to choose from, if you decide on a... More

After much searching and deliberating we chose Pine Bank Chalets for our log cabin retreat in Aviemore. We were not disappointed. The site was great, it was quiet and we weren't overlooked by the other cabins. Ideally located just off the main road, but no road noise can be heard. 9 miles to the Cairngorm range and a 2 minute... More

The location is fantastic, you can walk into Aviemore in under 5 mins, there were Red Squirrels in the garden and the river Spey across the road. BUT, the lodge was dark and very poorly lit (I could not see what was in my bag when unpacking & that was in daylight with the lights on!) & the cleanliness left... More
