as previous posters have said - you get what you pay for: excellent value for Glasgow: we paid 16 pounds per night per single room in August! OK the showers/toilets are shared (but always clean) and it's not a 4 star hotel, but I've stayed in 4 star hotels that were poorer than this! it's student accommodation for Glasgow University...
