I stayed here for one night with my daughter as we were going to a concert at the SECC. It was easy to reach by train and easy to find. Reception staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room wasn't huge, but it was clean, comfortable and warm. Comfortable beds and a good shower, and not noisy at night. The... More

Dear Mumandgirl Thanks for your review of our hotel after a recent visit, and glad to hear that both you and your daughter enjoyed all the facilities we have to offer. It is wonderful to hear that you are recommending us, I have certainly noticed some familiar faces returning time and time again to the hotel, it really does feel... More

Like lots of others we come to hotels like this just to sleep for 1 night after a concert at the SECC 300 mts away, (Snow Patrol Friday 27 Jan 2012 Room Only £85 ) Beds were comfy enough, pillows were the size of a stamp but luckily a first class one so were ok. Don't stay here if you... More

We have stayed here many times over the last few years on business and this time we thought the place had improved. Only downside for us was we were given a twin instead of the double asked for. Only one night's stay so it was okay, we just moved the beds! The breakfast was lovely and the staff friendly and... More

We stayed here with our daughter and her friend as they were going to the 1 Direction concert at the SECC which is only a short walk from the hotel so that was great. Staff were very friendly and helpful, we ate in the bar and found the food excellent. We had adjoining rooms so the girls could get us... More

Normally I wouldn't stay in a Glasgow hotel since I live in Glasgow, but after the several storms last week, I had to seek some accommodation while the roof of my flat was put back together. I phoned around a few places and someone suggested the Campanile by the SECC which isn't too far from home and they were kind... More

Dear GlasgowNight_hawk Sorry to hear about the damage the recent storms caused to your flat, and hope the roof is put back together as quickly as possible. My daughter and I stayed at the hotel for the George Michael concert, 6th December 2011. We were disappointed with the room. Little space to move around, and on arrival the room was freezing cold, despite the fact that it was snowing and was freezing outside. Surely the room should have been warmed for our expected arrival? The other problem... More

Dear Gillgreenall Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with and for clarifying the date upon which you stayed. The 6th December was indeed when we had experienced a particularly cold snap of weather with heavy snow falls, and whilst for economical reasons our rooms are key activated meaning that the heating will kick in once... The room we were given was a disabled room and looked nice, but was freezing, heater did not work properly and no heater in the very large bathroom. The toilet also leaked and the water sat in the middle of the tiled floor. The staff were helpful and moved us to another room, which was much warmer, however if we... More

Dear Shirley G Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us. I am so sorry in the first instance that you were allocated an easy access room without asking for this. Our policy is to release these rooms last of all unless otherwise requested. And whilst these rooms are larger all round, they are equipped... More
