I went with a group of colleagues to attend a festival in Glasgow and the hostel was chosen based on recommendations given on a previous trip. I would travel 6-8 times in the year and would use hostel accommodation 1-2 times each year. The hostel is one of the largest in Glasgow, a high-rise building with 9 bedroom floors, which... More

The EuroHostel is good value and in a great location. We recently stayed here as a stopover for our trip to the West Highlands and even though it is very basic it was clean and just what we needed. The room had a flat screen tv which was a bonus as a lot of hostels don't, so good if you... More

The price and location is what grabbed my attention. The locations perfecting train and bus connections. Right on the Clyde which looks awesome at night. The hotel reception was friendly and there are lots of local interest flyers plus a sweet safe that you can lock your mobile in to get a battery charge!!!! The downstairs bar and restaurant was... I've stayed in the Euro hostel for like... 4 times now. And I do like it. It's central enough, but if you are walking with really heavy bags then it can appear to be a longer walk. With regards to hygiene... if I'm only staying one night, then I would really think twice if I want a shower there. But... More

There were some positives, so I'll do the good before the bad.... The location of this place is great, really close to the train stations and shops bars etc, within walking distance to secc. The hotel bar is really nice and well priced. At only £20 per person per night you really can't expect luxury but I think this place... More

Got a private room with 2 bunk beds and ensuite shower and toilet. Bed was comfortable, Flat screen TV. Great shower. Breakfast was basic but ok. Location was good - near central train station and near St Enoch subway station and supermarkets. However it is very noisy at night - train tracks and traffic nearby disturbed my sleep. What a... I splurged and booked into a 4 bed dorm room and was delighted with the accomadation and the room mates. It was easy to get to almost everywhere from this hostel, because it is a very short walk to Central Station and St. Enochs tube station, also just 10 minutes to the shuttle to the airport, Situated on the beautiful... I found the staff to be very friendly. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I was orginally given a room on the side with the busy street, but due to the noise level I asked to be changed to a room on the back side which the lady at the front desk was happy to accomodate. If... More

Well, to start with, the staff are incredibly helpful as myself and the girl I was staying with were very unhelpful ourselves as we kept leaving our cards in our room and they had no hassle with getting us another. The room itself was enough; two beds sink, toilet, shower (if a little temperamental), mirror, television and table were all... More
