I was in Glasgow for 2 days and this Hostel was actually my second choice. I arrived and was greeted with the most amazing funny front desk staff, who were very helpful. My husband and I stayed two nights in a private room - we had a set of bunkbeds and our own bathroom. Our room rate included the duvets, pillows and towels. The room was basic but clean there was a tv with 15 hours viewing for a £1, the bed was comfortable the shower and washing facilities were good , breakfast was included and was also good, the facilities throughout the hostel were very good and the staff were excellent and very helpful, only critisism and its not of the hotel... more

A friend and I used the hostel for the Bruce Springsteen concert that night. There was a Springsteen themed day and night in the hostel bar, the drinks were cheap, the staff were perfect and the room was more than adequate; the hostel even run a cheap bus to Hampden for the concert. The location of the hotel is great, close to the center of the city and next to the train station. The rooms were a mess. Lots of stuff from previous visitors, was still there. Stayed here a couple of times so far and will keep coming back. Not the cleanest or most modern hostel I've been to.
