Dinky overpriced room in Hillhead Hotel in Glasgow way on the periphery far from any tourist attraction (except Botanical garden). more

My bad experiences with this hotel began with the rude greeting from the owner / manageress and a demand for cash in advance. Now I understand why. Who would pay afterwards? The car park proved to be 150 yards drive away round three sides of the block, and 150 yards walk back - but don't waste your time, it is... more

Room rate is cheap so I did not expect much. My room is at the top floor. I can say it is relatively clean. Bathroom is small. The sink sits next to the bed and it is very tacky to me. Different ladies take care of the breakfast. One lady is very generous and gives enough food: egg, bacon, toast... more

Sooooooo..... The Welcome: we arrived to 'warm, receptive, personal' door, the female who answered it was slightly less desirable, not a hello or welcome just a '£80 now and that will be £5 extra for using your card'. Delightful: )....... The Room: We entered the 'SMELL HOLE', where do i start, the cups were filthy, the room was dirty, the... more

Faulty Towers indeed! We only stayed at this B&B for one night, but really I would rather have slept in my car, then possibly I would have not received a parking fine either and would have somehow managed a better sleep! After finding the B&B, which was a bit of a nightmare, we arrived and our money was taken right... more

Well, where do I start. I booked for a double room with en suite, and what I got was a room with a shower door that didn't open fully, a hole in the floor next to the door, 2 out of 3 bulbs were out on the ceiling light, a bed that looked more like a slightly larger single bed,... more

Quite possibly the worst hotel/B&B we’d ever stayed in. Yes the free private parking at the rear, with the only access to it is single car width uneven cobbled street behind cecil street. There is room for 4 cars parked in 2x2 formation, so you will get jammed in in the morning if you are first to park. There is... more

We had booked for 5 nights. When we arrived, we immediately cancelled the last night. The manageress charged us half the price for that night, although it was 5 days in advance, and in the end she was fully booked. She told lots of lies and was extremely unfriendly, even rude. We would have preferred to leave, but she did... more

What can I say......... The hotel is probably the worst I have stayed in ever.............. The hotel was very scruffy and we had a room on the top floor. I asked about the free parking and I was directed to the back of the building where I couldn't get into the car park as the small car park is on... more

I stayed two nights here recently. I had no complaints about the room itself - it was fine, clean and importantly quiet at night. So, as my main reason for staying was simply somewhere to sleep, it was OK. On the first morning, however, I went for breakfast and it was appalling. There was only one table occupied when I... more
